Last week, we discussed some of the exciting new additions coming to the Orlando theme parks for the 2020 year. From ‘IceBreaker’ over at SeaWorld Orlando, to ‘The Bourne Stuntacular’ at Universal Orlando Resort, there will be a new attraction opening at each of the Orlando theme parks to fit everyone’s needs. Fortunately for us, we did not even begin to scratch the surface of new attractions debuting at Walt Disney World’s EPCOT, alone! There are so many new attractions to look forward to this upcoming year, including – Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure at EPCOT, HarmonioUS, Canada Far and Wide, and so much more! Let’s take a look at some of the additional attractions opening at EPCOT in 2020.
Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure
In the summer of 2020, the Walt Disney World Resort will be debuting an all new attraction inside of the France Pavilion at EPCOT titled, ‘Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure.’ Similar to its counterpart at Disneyland Paris, guests will climb aboard special trackless vehicles as they glide across kitchen floors in a culinary adventure with Chef Remy. This attraction is one of many new additions to EPCOT as Imagineers shape this park into an all-new, groundbreaking theme park over the coming months. The park’s massive overhaul is set to be completed by the year 2021.
Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along
In addition to the new Remy attraction in France, ‘Impressions de France’ will also be joined by a new film, directed by Don Hahn, titled ‘Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along.’ Guests will be invited to join in song and celebration amongst each other as they enjoy some of their favorite music from Disney’s Classic ‘Beauty in the Beast’ movie. This brand-new show is set to debut in January of 2020.
HarmonioUS
With the removal of Illuminations: Reflections of Earth, and the recent addition of EPCOT Forever – Illuminations’ temporary successor – comes an all new nighttime spectacular, HarmonioUS. This groundbreaking fireworks display is said to be the largest nighttime spectacular ever created at any Disney Park, and will feature massive floating set pieces, LED Panels, dancing fountains, and of course, plenty of fireworks for all to enjoy. The HarmonioUS nighttime spectacular will be themed to the music of Disney and its ability to inspire individuals all over the world, with multiple musical interpretations of your favorite Disney classics performed by diverse musicians across the globe. The debut for this show is yet to be announced, but is scheduled to launch sometimes in 2020.
Canada – Far and Wide
In January of 2020, the Canada Pavilion – located in the World Showcase – is set to debut a brand new Circle-Vision 360 show, titled ‘Canada – Far and Wide.’ This show will include new scenes, as well as a new story that highlights the beauty of Canada in a stunning display of visual magic that only Disney can achieve. Sadly, there is no word yet as to whether or not Martin Short will return.
Awesome Planet
Last but not least is the addition of an all-new Land Pavilion film, titled ‘Awesome Planet.’ This show is set to highlight the beauty and diversity of Earth, and is meant to bring attention to the dynamic story that our planet holds. This show will be featured in the theater that the previous ‘Circle of Life: An Environmental Fable’ show was housed in, and will debut to audiences in January of 2020.
