From January 8th to February 22nd, the 2021 Epcot International Festival of the Arts will provide guests with the opportunities to EAT, be ENTERTAINED, and ENGAGE firsthand within the world of art. This festival celebrates culinary arts, visual arts, and performing arts. We absolutely love this festival and it’s at the top of our Disney festival list to attend. So please take this opportunity with us to showcase some highlights of the variety of experiences available for everyone to enjoy!

If you are a self-proclaimed “foodie”, there are plenty of amazing opportunities for you to indulge your taste buds in the culinary arts. With an assortment of food studios stationed all throughout the park, you will have the chance to sample an array of flavors. One especially delectable dish can be found at The Deconstructed Dish food studio. From here we picked up the Deconstructed Reuben which is a Rye Popover, Corned Beef, Gryuère Panna Cotta and Brined Brussels Sprouts with Broken Thousand Island Dressing. Of course we had to get a dessert dish as well which was the Deconstructed Strawberry Cheesecake: Whipped New York-style Cheesecake with Fresh Florida Strawberries and Sugar Cookies. These are some of our favorite menu items here at the Festival of Arts, we order it every year because they add/change it.

If you thrive in the face of tasty foods, then you may want to take a trip into the World Showplace where you can find the Festival Favorites. You can discover guests-favorite dishes, microbrews and other amazing beverages. Some of the favorite foods available include, Remy’s Ratatouille, Charcuterie, Lemon Blood-Orange Tart, and Artist Palette Jumbo Chocolate-Chip Cookie. We decided to taste test the Lemon Blood-Orange Tart and Remy’s Ratatouille. Neither of these failed to disappoint either of us, so if you’re in the mood to send your taste buds around the world, check-out Festival Favorites in the World Showplace.

If you are intrigued by amazing entertainment, you can catch captivating performances everywhere you turn at the International Festival of the Arts. New in 2021 here at the Festival of the Arts, Epcot brings us the Voices of Liberty. The Voices of Liberty will take the stage at America Gardens Theatre, they will be performing a variety of your favorite Disney songs and celebrate the artistry of Disney composers and lyricists. With a 7-day offering you can tap your toes to a variety of show tunes performed by talented Epcot Pianists at World Showplace. You can also listen to soothing sounds by the JAMMitors, experience Visual Art in Performance, as well as discovering the work of imaginative Chalk Artists, then help create a chalk art masterpiece! Here at the Festival of the Arts, you will not fail to be entertained in a variety of different ways.

If you enjoy expressing your own aptitude for art, then pop over to the Expression Section: A Paint by Number Mural. You can engage in this experience (for free) by joining your fellow artists as you work together to complete a larger-than-life painting by number mural. You are provided with paint, a brush, and a designated number; once you scope out some spots with that number, you can unleash your inner artist and create a colorful, collective masterpiece alongside others! There are plenty of Interactive Experiences all throughout the Festival of the Arts but you can also indulge yourself in must-see exhibits. You have the opportunity to walk around and admire all of the amazing art provided by artists. With so many breathtaking forms of artwork showcased, you can now explore the many merchandise locations around World Showplace and Future World to find incredible art and meet the talented artists who put a lot of work and skill into each piece. There is art for sale, so you can bring home talented pieces done by your favorite artists.
