Disney’s Newest Cruise Ship: A Magical Journey Aboard the Disney Treasure!

Welcome aboard the Disney Treasure, Disney Cruise Line’s newest and most highly anticipated ship! 🚢✨ From the moment we set sail, this embarkation day was packed with excitement, adventure, and some jaw-dropping first looks at the ship’s immersive theming, top-tier dining, and all-new experiences—including the eerie and incredible Haunted Mansion Parlor!

Setting Sail from Port Canaveral

We kicked off embarkation day at the Grand Floridian, where we stayed overnight before heading to the port. Disney provided a fantastic pre-cruise breakfast, complete with cheesy grits, frittatas, and croissants—fueling us up for the magical voyage ahead! 🚗💨 After packing up, we made our way to Port Canaveral, where we got a rare side-by-side view of the Disney Wish and the Disney Treasure—a stunning sight of two sister ships together!

Stepping into the terminal, the excitement was palpable. The Triton-class design of the Treasure is striking, and the ship, only on its third sailing, looked absolutely pristine.

First Impressions: The Grand Hall & Hidden Details

As soon as we stepped aboard, the Grand Hall took our breath away! Themed after Aladdin, this stunning space featured golden details, a massive chandelier, and statues of Jasmine and Aladdin floating on their magic carpet. Disney’s attention to detail is next-level—hidden in the carpet are designs of Abu as an elephant, Raja, and Aladdin’s monkey companion reaching for oranges. Plus, up on the chandelier, each Disney Cruise Line ship’s mascot character has a special emblem, like Cinderella’s slipper, Ariel, Mickey, and Donald!

After a quick stop at Mickey’s Mainsail to check out the exclusive Disney Treasure merchandise (inaugural sailing spirit jerseys, anyone?), we made our way to our stateroom.

Deluxe Family Oceanview Stateroom Tour

Our deluxe family stateroom was everything we could have hoped for:

✅ Aladdin-themed décor with a gorgeous mural of Agrabah

✅ Multiple beds, including a Murphy bed and a bunk for families of five

✅ Upgraded storage options, including under-bed luggage space and additional drawers

✅ A dual-bathroom setup, complete with a glass shower door instead of a curtain

✅ USB and USB-C charging ports at every bedside

Stepping onto the balcony, the view was perfect—we could see the Disney Wish docked right next to us!

Exploring the Ship: Food, Fun & Hidden Mickeys

With embarkation complete, it was time to dive into all things Disney Treasure! We explored the ship’s food offerings, including:

🍕 Mickey & Friends Festival of Foods – Burgers, BBQ, pizza, and tacos galore!

🍦 Jumbo’s Sweets – A Zootopia-themed dessert shop featuring giant chocolate bark postcards, themed gelato, and incredible cakes

🥩 Marceline Market – The ship’s buffet featuring lamb chops, steak, and international flavors

One of the first big events was the Welcome Reception at Sarabi, which later transforms into the venue for Indiana Jones improv shows. Here, we learned about the Skipper Society Lounge, a Jungle Cruise-inspired bar filled with puns, hidden details, and delicious drinks.

The Haunted Mansion Parlor: A Spooky Surprise! 👻

Easily one of the most anticipated new experiences aboard the Disney Treasure, the Haunted Mansion Parlor absolutely blew our minds. Themed after Disney’s iconic Haunted Mansion attraction, this lounge is packed with ghostly effects, hidden gags, and interactive surprises.

✨ Themed drinks like the Chilling Challenge, which lets you print a spooky message on the foam

👀 Haunted portraits that morph from living to ghostly

🕯️ Madame Leota-inspired elements and eerie sound effects

This bar is unlike anything else on Disney Cruise Line, and we could have spent hours just watching the ghostly apparitions play tricks on unsuspecting guests.

Setting Sail & Disney’s Newest Entertainment

As the sun began to set, it was time for the Let’s Set Sail! Sail Away Party on the main deck. Hosted by adventurers Coryander and Sage, this show featured Disney characters, fireworks, and an energetic send-off into the open seas.

Dinner at Worlds of Marvel brought a new Groot-themed remix to the classic Avengers dining experience, complete with interactive Quantum Core trivia and a surprise character cameo.

Later in the night, we checked out Indiana Jones: A Madcap Comedy Show, an improv retelling of all five Indiana Jones movies, where the audience helps decide the plot. This was an absolute highlight of the night—hilarious, interactive, and full of surprises!
