Covering limited time food items has become a staple for this blog, and today’s article is no different. Whether it be Disney Springs’ Wonderfall Flavors, or EPCOT’s food and Wine Festival, Tim and Jenn have consistently covered what’s new and fresh to taste at the theme parks. In today’s article, we visit Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party to try out all that is new and sweet during Walt Disney World’s staple Halloween event. It’s true that Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party offers many delicious treats and snacks to choose from, but with so many new additions this season, there’s sure to be a ghoulishly delightful treat that will send every taste bud in your group buzzing. From Constance’s For Better or For Worse Cake, to Hades’ Nachos and more, there’s no shortage of delicious treats to be tricked as we follow along with Tim and Jenn through the Magic Kingdom and Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party.
1. Constance’s For Better or For Worse Cake
Found at the Liberty Square Popcorn Cart (which is located conveniently near to the Haunted Mansion attraction) is where we find our first foreboding treat, appropriately titled ‘Constance’s For Better or For Worse Cake.’ Described by Disney as a Citrus-scented cake with raspberry Bavarian Cream, glaçage, Buttercream Pearls and Flowers, all topped off with a Chocolate Axe, this incredibly tasteful treat combines the best of tartness, as well as sweetness to form the perfect cake to share with other members of our party, if you dare! This dessert is the perfect portion size to share with your significant other, or to enjoy by yourself if you so desire! Regardless of how you choose to finish off Constance’s For Better or For Worse Cake, you’re sure to enjoy this limited time dessert that can only be found at Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party.
2. Hades’ Nachos
If you’re looking for a snack that is a bit more savory, perhaps Hades’ Nachos are the right choice for you. Located in Frontierland, inside of Pecos Bill’s Tall Tale Inn and Cafe, these Black Bean Nacho Chips are topped with Fiery Buffalo Chicken and can be loaded with your favorite selection of Topping Bar Items. Though these nachos are described as fiery, the bite is rather mild, while the savory taste, as a whole, is more than satisfying whether combined with, or without, toppings. Certainly, the price for these nachos are rather steep, but seems to be in line with most snackable menu items around the parks today. Even still, prepare to spend $12 dollars on these limited time nachos offered at Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party.
3. Billy’s Worms and Dirt
In addition to Hades’ Nachos at Pecos Bill’s Tall Tale Inn and Cafe, guests may also find our next sweet treat: Billy’s Worms and Dirt. This dessert is created using chocolate pudding topped with gluten-friendly cake crumbs, gummy worms, and a chocolate piece featuring Billy from Hocus Pocus. Immediately, you will notice that this dessert is rather small, and is not meant to be shared with other individuals in your party. Aside from its rather small portion, this dessert is nothing particularly fancy, (if you’ve ever wondered what chocolate pudding and cake crumbs tastes like, this is the dessert for you) and is better off passed on if you’re limited to only selecting one or two treats during your visit to Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party.
4. Chocolate Mickey Waffle Sundae
Heading back to Liberty Square and stopping by Sleepy Hollow Refreshments, we find the Chocolate Mickey Waffle Sundae. Made up of 2 Chocolate Mickey Waffles and topped with Pumpkin Gelato, candy corn, caramel sauce, sprinkles, and whipped cream, this treat is for the pumpkin spice fan in your life! The pumpkin gelato, when paired with the chocolate Mickey waffles, and assorted toppings, makes for an affordable, fairly priced treat that is tough for guests to pass up when given the opportunity to indulge in this exclusive dessert.
5. Headless Horseman Cheesecake
Also located at Sleepy Hollow Refreshments is the Headless Horseman Cheesecake, made up of pumpkin mousse, layered with chocolate cake, chocolate crunchies, and orange glaze, topped with a headless horseman chocolate piece. This menu item is reminiscent of a similar item offered at the Boma Restaurant at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge – Zebra Domes – providing the same texture and consistency as such. However, the Headless Horseman Cheesecake was created to compliment the Fall season, offering the flavor of pumpkin spice in place of the Zebra Domes’ traditional reliance on chocolate. Though flavorful, this is a treat may not sit well with every member of your party, as there is a bit of a sour taste to the cheesecake itself. Similar to Billy’s Worms and Dirt, this is an item that, if limited to one or two treats at Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party, may be skipped in favor of a more explorative snack.
6. Lots-O-Burger
Our final snack comes to us courtesy of Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe. The Lots-O-Burger is created by stacking a Beef Patty with Brie Fondue, Strawberry-Bacon Jam, an Onion Ring, and sandwiched in between a Lots-O Branded Bun. For the money, this menu item is definitely the most bang for your buck, as the Lots-O-Burger is served with a mountainous side of fries, allowing for multiple individuals in your party to snack on what will surely be an overwhelming amount of fried potatoes. In addition, the strawberry-bacon jam and brie fondue really set this burger apart from others offered to daytime guests in the park, and is sure to be a favorite meal for guests looking for a flavorful spin on an American classic.

It’s true that Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party offers many delicious treats and snacks to choose from, and with so many new additions this season, there’s sure to be an item or two that Tim and Jenn missed this season.
