As of yesterday, Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge opened up to guests at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, allowing all who visit a chance to explore the planet of Batuu. From the highly anticipated Millenium Falcon: Smugglers Run attraction, to the immersive environment that is unlike any other land currently offered in Orlando, there’s plenty to see and do during your next visit to this incredible part of the park. So it is only appropriate that with the recent opening of Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge that Tim and Jenn would bring us some of their favorite food items scattered throughout the planet. Of course, with so much to taste, it’s difficult to go wrong with any of the food offered on Batuu. However, we have chosen 3 food items that are must-tries for those looking to make the most of their visit without breaking the bank.

1. Blue Milk

Inspired by a beverage from the movies themselves, blue milk is a non-alcoholic and vegan drink available at the Milk Stand within the Black Spire Outpost Market for all to try. Contrary to its name, Blue Milk has a slushy-like consistency, and tastes more citrusy than it does milk, but don’t let this deter you from giving it a try the next time you are visiting Batuu; it certainly is a beverage everyone must taste at least once!

2. Ronto Wrap

Located at Ronto Roasters in the Black Spire Outpost Market, this out-of-this-world version of a hot dog takes a food item here on Earth from good to great! Utilizing roasted pork and grilled sausage with peppercorn sauce and tangy slaw wrapped in a pita, this unique creation certainly does Batuu’s unique menu items justice, and offers meat-lovers a tasty and spicy option for an affordable price at Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge.

3. Fried Endorian Tip-Yip

Last but not least on our list of the Top 3 Food Items you Must Try at Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge is a favorite of both Tim and Jenn’s – the Fried Endorian Tip-Yip. Available at Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo, this menu item is served with crispy chicken topping roasted vegetable potato mash and herb gravy. Surprisingly, the chicken isn’t processed, chicken nugget-type meat you’d come to expect at a theme park, but rather, is real, tender chicken. Additionally, the vegetable potato mash topped with the herb gravy excellently compliments the chicken itself. A kid’s version of the Fried Endorian Tip-Yip is also available for younger guests to enjoy during their visit to Batuu.

With so much to taste, it’s difficult to go wrong with any of the food offered on Batuu. Walt Disney World has done a fantastic job of serving up quality food in Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge, but for those with a limited amount of time within in the land, or for those looking to go right for the best of the best, we’d recommend these three items available for purchase on Batuu. Regardless of your decision, we know you’ll enjoy your next meal in a galaxy far far away.
